About the Mural

Cincinnati has a brewing heritage that overflows with rich traditions, history and pride – all of which are celebrated in this installation series that joins three other large-scale murals along Cincinnati’s Brewery Heritage Trail. This Mural is a permanent installation on the front wall of Moerlein Brewery. The image is taken from a photograph of a 19th century Munich barmaid, and constructed from small pieces of tile.
